The caring animal shelter in Port Elizabeth - hooray to Animal Welfare and Kathrine & team

I'm entitling this Promotions and events - there is no category for the welfare of animals. Yet there is so much being done in Port Elizabeth to come to the rescue of all animals. I'm singling out Animal Welfare in Victoria road, because during my five years year, I have come to know them, and adopted my own dog from them. Due to the unstinting efforts put in by their time, countless animals find homes, and yet their kennels are overflowing. The FB posts are heartbreaking because so many heartless people just move away and leave their animals to fend for themselves. I have to single out Kathrine who is in charge of adoptions, and Marizanne Ferreira with her fertile imagination to advertise and personify these dogs to find homes. They have regular events, and on Saturdays the public can walk their dogs. For fellow animal *****s, it is so comforting to know that there are so many out there who really care. My hope is always that more people will realise the intelligence and sensitivity of all animals and treat them better. Thank you to all you wonderful people!
