I am extremely disgusted with the service of Herd SA. I bought lots of products/equipment to start up my home gym on Black Friday November 2021.

There was always an excuse why my order wasn’t ready. I’ve send hundreds of emails until it got to the point where the lady doing the emails gave me the owner’s number to speak directly to him because i think she was out of answers as well.

When they eventually send my order it was sent to the Western Cape in stead of the Eastern Cape. When i eventually got some of my equipment it was faulty and the products didn’t look the same as on the website.

I bought a bench with a leg curl/extension attachment. The attachment couldn’t be used because the holes were on the wrong side so they had to send me a new one. And on top of that the cushions for the leg curl hurts my knee so bad I had knee pain for days. The attachment also shake a lot and had to be send to an engineering shop to make it better.

I bought a leg press. It can’t do a full range of motion all the way down it gets stuck. The holes of one of the poles you put the weight plates on doesn’t match the holes on the leg press so it can’t be assembled together. The leg press was only a few days with me and the paint already have gone off on some places. I also had to take the leg press to an engineering shop to make it more user friendly.

On top of everything - i have won a R10 000 voucher on black Friday because i am the customer that spent the most on the website on that day. Obviously you have to choose something from the website and I chose the cable pulley machine… until today I haven’t received anything. And now they are ignoring me.

What a disgrace! Wouldn’t recommend! None of the equipment came with instructions as well…
