The reason not to take travel insurance they never pay out!!!

Following the President's announcement imposing Lock down level 4 restrictions I'm afraid I had to cancel our planned trip which was scheduled to start on 4th July taking in PE, Durban, Nelspruit, Kruger and Pretoria before flying back to Cape Town on 25th July.

Therefore since we cannot travel into/out of Gauteng I need to cancel our trip, how do I process this claim?

I was advised because my cancellation was not one of the covered events listed ie 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5?

my claim was rejected.

I said I was absolutely shocked stunned a loss for words at Hepstar's decision to reject my claim because despite of a COVID-19 pandemic and the Presidents lockdown 4 restrictions not being included in Hepstar covered event items items 1.1 to 1.5.

So Hepstar policy is ignore COVID-19 pandemic and the Presidents lockdown 4 restrictions
