Hair chop shop, not hair salon

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 3rd of May I went to Henrico Hair and Beauty Studio (Rynfield Terrace), Rynfield, Benoni.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I walked in, I asked if they can give me a healthy trim (my hair was in the middle of my back). I informed them that I do not want a blow as I will do it myself and from there I can see whether my cut is satisfactorily or not.</p> <p> </p> <p>I also, subsequently informed them that I am very pedantic about my hair and can they ensure me that they can cut my hair without making a mess of it. They ensured me that they will take very good care of me. They also informed me afterwards that if any problem, I can come back to them within a 7 day period.</p> <p> </p> <p>The day of my cut I was running around as I was preparing to leave early the next morning on holiday. The following morning I just did my hair up in a ponytail. Didn’t feel very comfortable as something didn’t feel right and didn’t look right. Thought it was probably just because I have not blow-dried my hair the previous day and the morning and due to that factor that my very short ponytail (cut was to be just below my shoulder blades, but came to just below my shoulders).</p> <p> </p> <p>That evening, after my ritual bath, I tried to blow wave my hair. I could not do a thing and then looked at my cut properly. (It looked as if a mouse or more like rats got into my hair)…. My hair was butchered. (The whole holiday I was hiding my hair beneath a cap – even walked into restaurants with a cap on). I was totally disgusted with the mess they made.</p> <p> </p> <p>Monday of the 9th I returned and on my way from home stopped at a hair salon in Randburg and asked them to look at my hair and made an appointment for the next evening. (They were absolutely shocked at what was done to my hair).</p> <p> </p> <p>I called Henrico Hair the following day and informed them that I am not happy at all and that they have butchered my hair. They asked me to come back, so that they can fix it and also informed me that they have not made a mess of my hair. After a heavy debate I informed them, they have not messed up my hair, but have literally F… up my hair as I have to probably cut my hair short now or alternatively try and have the cut sorted by another hairdresser). I informed them that I will not go back there for them to sort out my hair as they have messed it up and that I am seeing another Salon that evening and will let them take pictures of my hair before they cut my hair and will show them the Sa****ay and will also collect my money as I now have to pay another Salon to try and fix my hair).</p> <p> </p> <p>On arrival at Henrico Hair on Sa****ay they took me outside, looked at the photos and the girl who has cut my hair, said that she did not cut my hair like that and because I have used the F word towards them, that they will not refund me. I then informed the owner that I will take this further and the owner of Henrico Hair informed me that if I do, they will take me to court as her husband is a lawyer.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then informed her that she can take me to court as I am pretty sure as a client it is my right to have complained and to have demanded my money back as I had to go elsewhere as after the way they have cut my hair; there is no ways that I will trust them to even attempt to fix the mess they have made.
