False vehicle info.
I saw the advert of a Suzuki Swift 2021 1.2 GLX for R 149000. I phoned. Made a R 5000 holding deposit. Made an appointment to go fetch the car the next day. Today they phoned me only to tell me the car they advertised is a 2018 Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL and that the price is R 159000. They placed these advers on Auto Trader, Carfind and Cars.co.za. The same car, different year models, different price. When I pointed out to them that I have taken screenshots of the vehicle they still denied. When I pointed out that the registration number on all the photos prove that it is the same vehicle, they said it is a human mistake. Beware , false information given to the public by Henque Motors.

18 Oct 2023, 15:42Good day Alan. Firstly we want to apologies for any inconvenience caused with the adverti*****t of the vehicle. As we explained telephonically the advert was placed in error by one of our sales executives and we do take resposibility for that and already addressed the issue promptly and swiftly. Your request to refund your deposit was done immediately . When I spoke to you on the phone I did not deny the advert being wrong, as you can remember I said I was also not aware of this (vehicle being advertised as 2021). To our knowledge the incorrect advert was only placed on one platform which we do not usually use, this is however not an excuse we and our sales staff should have know better and should have made sure the information is correct. We do NOT do false advertising at all, all our advertising can be verified on our usual platform - Automart. Nevertheless we again apologies for the inconvenience caused , and would like to assure you we do honest business, thank you for your comment, we will take this at heart.
