Poor Management

I recently signed up for domestic service through and agency as hiring individuals with no background checks or a reliable management team to rely on was becoming increasing difficult and frustrating when it came to having my home cleaned. I found a company by the name of Helping Hands in the Bera are who proudly advertised they have been in business for 30 years.

Needless to say one would not be blamed for assuming this was a fairly new and inexperienced company. I was sent a **** who arrived in good time on the day requested, she immediately wanted to have a tea break as she had been travelling for about 2 hours to my home. She however did not bring with her any food which was part off the agreement with the agency. As courtesy I made her breakfast and coffee and let her rest before starting the day, she informed me she intended on walking to a nearby shop to purchase something for lunch - again I assisted with this meal as I did not want to lose time in getting the work done. Not only did she take 2 30 minute breaks but she also did not want to eat the lunch offered to her as it was not her preference and she told me what I can give her which I found highly unprofessional and forward. Furthermore she did not put away dishes, left the vacuum cleaner on the bed in my bedroom and did not even bother to put a new bin bag in our bin. On her next working day, she was 15 minutes late when I called her she simply said I will be there in an hour - no apology or explaination was offered. When the issue was addressed with her she made up several excuses and eventually rolled her eyes and apologised. Again she did not bring in a meal. I asked her to leave as I felt I could not work with someone with so little respect for her employee and no value for her job. On reporting to the agency the manager was very helpful but now 3 weeks later I have spent 3 Sundays in a row waiting for a **** that was promised but never arrived. Upon contacting the agency via email and telephone it takes about 3 attempts to get any feedback, each time being made to feel as though they are doing a favour for you. Eventually I gave up and canceled the contract and asked for a refund but as usual no response or effort to keep me happy or as a customer. It is a no wonder small businesses such as these do not flourish and are always available - the customer base is small due to the lack off customer service and ability to be able to run a professional business.
