Avoid Deon Marx as he is a *********!

What a shark!

I contacted Help 247 Pool Repair with the intention of renovating my pool - it need the works, new mosaic, new marbelite, filter sand. pool light, etc. I contacted the company on the 10th September 2018 and used my wife as the contact person as she is a housewife and would be present for the quote.

The quoting and invoicing proved to be very efficient and led us to believe that the owner's ethics and workmanship would mirror this image. This however, was far from the truth and within days the owner, Deon Marx, proved himself to be a **** and a *****. A total of 5 days were worked and not even 5% of the work was completed. Excuses and false promises were the only tidbits of information received when calling to enquire about the project. After 3 weeks of not being on site, when I phoned the company owner he explained that "the bakkie was broken and needed to be fixed" and that they "would be on site tomorrow".

Well I guess tomorrow never comes! The last time any work was done was the 25th Sept 2018 and today is the 13th Nov 2018. Have I received any communication from the company? No! Is is likely that the contractor will ever appear on site again? No!

I now have to resort to lawyers and courts to sort out this mess and hopefully recover my costs. If you EVER hear of a man called DEON MARX doing ANY sort of contract work, run away! Get another contractor! Anything but pay money to this man! He has a silver tongue and can talk the talk, but so far with plumbing and swimming pool repair, he CANNOT walk the talk!
