Worst Tattoo Studio Ever

The worst service ever. I would go so far as saying that I would never ever suggest or recommend this company for tattoos. We contacted the owner prior to arriving in the country on referral from a friend. We arrived and went straight out to Blouberg to see his studio and discuss the tattoo as it’s part of a sleeve and a big piece of work.

We arranged a date at the end of our holidays - and confirmed the time and paid a deposit. No paper work or confirmation was written in response which was already unprofessional.

We then contacted him the day of the appointment in the morning to confirm- this should have been done by him but wasn’t so we were forced to check if all was in order still. He rep**** that he needs to change the time for two hours after the arranged time due to a burglary. We understood this and although it threw a spanner in the works with regard to our plans we obliged. My husband left to get to Blouberg on arrival was told he couldn’t tattoo as he had pain in his arm. This could have been communicated to us beforehand to save us time, money and to search for an alternative as our trips date was scheduled later to accommodate this appointment. While my husband sat there in disbelief, the tattooist made an appointment and told him he had to leave and couldn’t pay his deposit back at the time.

Here you are- cancelling an appointment and leaving a client in your studio and not paying the deposit back. We have since received the deposit back after 48 hours as he had taken tranquilizers and couldn’t answer his phone prior to this. Now we are receiving very unprofessional voice notes about how he doesn’t care what we think and that we are “****ers” for not thanking him for our refund.
