No patient care

Hi there,<br> <br> I took my girlfriend to Helen Joseph hospital on Monday the 23rd February at 10am to the emergency unit. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitus. It took the hospital 12 hours to get her into a bed. The bed that she was placed in is absolutely filthy, it has blood stains from the previous patients still on it. The nurses attitude and helpfulness is absolutely atrocious! On Monday night that she was admitted she was given one injection for the pain, the rest of the time she was given Panado's. Today is Wednesday and she still has not received any medication for the acute pancreatitus, nothing! <br> <br> While I was waiting in the emergency unit I saw 3 people that has passed away in the emergency unit, most of them died due to no care being given to them. The state of the hospital is very bad and very filthy. When my girlfriend asked about the medication, one of the nurses threatened her by telling her that she will not administer the medication if she keeps on asking. 2 and a half days in the hospital and still no antibiotics have been administered? What the hell? The attitude there is like well if you die here and now we have another open bed. Our health care is disgusting?
