Horrid treatment from Helene Joseph Hospital staff

A patient was taken to Helen Joseph Hospital by ambulance on the 4th of January 2022 @3pm. He started receiving medication by 5pm on the 4h of January 2022. As I write the review the morning of the 7th of January 2022 @7:55am, the patient has been waiting in the emergency section, not been transferred to a ward, his been in the emergency room for 40 hours. Everyone that was in the emergency room on the 4th, came in with the same patient has since been transferred to a ward, however not the patient. The nurses reason for not transferring him to a ward, that there are no beds.

The night shift Dr that saw the patient on the 6th advised that the suspects the patient has TB and needs isolated.

On the evening of the 6th, the patient needed to use the bathroom, the staff on duty did not assist the patient - instead they laughing at the patient. If is was not for the patient's mother who went to check in on him, he almost messed himself - His mom & sister has been waiting for him in the emergency room throughout, since the ambulance took him in. The staff are rude and when one speaks to them, they turn their backs on you and walk away, and treating the patient vey badly.

The escorts are being put outside in the cold - escorts waiting in the cold, sleeping on the benches.
