Helen Joseph Hospital

My wife had been struggling for over a year to get a diagnosis for her illness. We went about 8 times to Laretong hospital in the west rand. They kept on diagnosing her with ******* colon or piles. We were despondent because no matter what medication she received, nothing helped. We got fed up and decided to go to Helen Joseph Hospital. When she entered the hospital the professionalism was evident. They took her in and sent her for all the blood tests, ct scans, mri tests and whatever they needed to diagnose her. The doctors eventually diagnosed her with stage 4 ****** cancer. They admitted my wife and started their process healing her. Due to the advanced stage of cancer, surgery to remove it was not possible. They operated to bypass the cancer with a stoma. Before that me and my wife met an angel in the name of Dr Aimee Domingo. Even in this state of covid, the doctor asked that I be present to explain the procedure for my wife and the way forward. I have and do not think I will ever meet a better doctor than Dr Domingo. I do not know her very well, but my wife and I love her for her respect and caring manner she has showed to us. I wish I could give her, her biggest wish. Good job Helen Joseph,good job.
