Helen Joseph do better...your doctor's are overwhelmed shame...

Ive been on a waiting list for surgery for 3 years because hj did not have electricity in ICU, no water no beds. I always blamed hospital management and administration and felt sorry for the doctors but my view has now been altered. A doctor misdiagnosed me without examining me and without looking at my medical records.. I have been attending hj and getting treatment for the same condition for 3 years and I asked him if I've healed because that's not my diagnosis noted in my medical records, he then proceeded to say he's the qualified doctor and that's his finding, I said that doctors have been treating me for something else for the past 3 years. I asked his senior who diagnosed me all those years ago as he was in the same consulting area and he assured me that my condition hadn't changed. The doctor also noted the wrong side of my body is affected. He noted left instead of right I had to repeat myself to clarify that it's not left but right because while waiting to be seen I saw a patient return with an x ray for the wrong side requested by the same doctor, had to be redone on the correct side. I was afraid to ask him to correct it in my medical records incase he had another out burst but I did. To further patronise me he asked what I prayed for on a holy night and I said healing, I joked and said that I thought my prayers were answered when he misdiagnosed me with a less serious condition. Guys please be vigilant and don't be afraid to ask questions. Imagine I had to have surgery and they do the wrong side. May God protect us..
