A wedding venue you MUST AVOID

The service we rec'd can only be described as DISGUSTING. We chose plated food but were told we could not have a choice. At the tasting the food on offer was a buffet and not what we would have on the day. I was told that I could have another tasting but I would have to pay. We planned b/fast the morning after and a no. of our guests planned to stay over. We confirmed the no. of rooms but later were told that no rooms were available. We had to book our parents and friends into accomm. 3kms away and use a shuttle service (our cost). We arranged another venue for b/fast. After our reception we signed the bar bill but I did not check it. A few 'hard tack' items had been included but we advised that we would pay for wine, beers and cold drinks and NO 'hard tack'. I was told that I had signed the bill as correct. Friends had a baby and had a sitter at the venue. We paid R360 for her meal which wasn't provided. The final bill had c/card charges of R1 055.60 which had been offset against my breakages deposit. This was for paying the deposit and bar bill. I was eventually re-imbursed the cost of the sitter's meal and the credit card charges but NOT the hard tack.
