No service after deposit was paid

Victor Pienaar who is the correct owner at Helderberg Fencing also promotes himself as a builder.

He sent us a quotation for all the work to be done and we paid a 50% deposit. Following this, he completed 5% of the labour (arriving late or not showing up on some days) and thereafter requested another 40% payment.

When we refused to pay the amount without proof of where the deposit was spent (since he had not bought any building material) , he simply said that he will not complete the job and disappeared.

We have yet to recover our money from him.

Do not do business with this man.
