Unroadworthy camper and terrible service

We hired a Vista 6 motorhome from them. The day before the trip we received a message that the vehicle has broken down and that it would be replaced by another vehicle. We were assured that although the vehicle were smaller, it had adequate space for four people.

The vehicle in the end: - Could not fit four people - Was not road worthy and the brakes totally failed after two days making the vehicle a danger on the road.

Numerous messages and calls to the owner went unanswered. Eventually we got hold of her and she advised that 'we should just go slow'.

After five days the vehicle was replaced with the vehicle we initially hired. The owner assured us that we will receive a refund for the difference in costs between the two vehicles.

After the trip she has been ignoring all communication and failed to respond to our request for a refund.

What was supposed to be a brilliant holiday was an absolute nightmare.
