400G 'TODAY PUFF PASTRY' ACTUALLY WEIGHS 300G!!!!

I bought a few packets of TODAY Puff Pastry (400g packs). It just felt really thinner than usual, and as I have had this problem previously, I weighed the packs when I got home. I was so shocked - each and every pack weighed about 320/330g INCLUDING the packaging!! I then went to Woolworths and bought a 400g pack. The Woolworths pastry weighed 430g incl packaging. I then sent an email to HJ Heinz / Today Puff Pastry informing them of this, and explained that I DID NOT WANT TO RECEIVE their usual coupons and standard letter apologising for the inconvenience etc. I was informed that this matter will be 'escalated' and I will hear from them shortly.<br> Lo and behold, what did I receive in the post today... a letter of apology and a R40.00 voucher.<br> This is so *********, and I feel something more should have been done on their part, instead of trying to shut me up with a voucher and a standardised letter. I want answers as to why and how this happens to us, the unsuspecting consumer.
