Heidelberg DLTC sucks

Drivers license renewal. I am livid. I first had a booking in Carletonville, drove from Pretoria, they were closed. Today I had a booking for a drivers license renewal in Heidelberg. Arrived at 9:45, as my appointment was 11:20, but we are advised to arrive at least an hour early, I was way earlier. NO EXPLANATION, the gates were locked, and we were all congregated in a parking lot across the street. After deliberation, people started to guess a "community thing" was going on. BUT NOT ONE PERSON IN THE DEPARTMENT even appeared. A drive from Pretoria - and that's what we get, with petrol at the exhorbitant price it is, and another day annual leave wasted. My license expired in August 2020, I have battled to now to get an online slot booking, now this. Extensions were granted to August 2021. Huh? I might just get my license renewed in 20 years from now. Maybe I need to go to the police for a permit to drive in this lawless country.
