Travelodge

Booked in for 2 week isolation. On booking we were told the Hotel is Pet Friendly. When we arrived, we told them our dog would arrive a day later. There was confusion as their Hotel policy states "while in isolation you may NOT EXIT YOUR ROOM" at all. We were never advised of this while booking and we telephoned them a couple of times to ensure our dog would be accepted. When they heard the dog was arriving they politely told us WE CANNOT WALK OUR DOG TO DO HIS BUSINESS AS WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO EXIT OUR ROOM AT ALL. So now how was our dog to go out for exercise etc. They recommended a dog walker!!! They said we can put our dog in kennels!!!!! Eventually they asked us to leave and would pay ALL our money back due to the misunderstandings. Ofcourse, that did not happen - they advised they would be charging us 2 days although we only slept in the room for 1 night and the dog was in the room for approximately 1 hour prior to us re-locating. Shocking treatment and making us leave during Covid lockdown as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
