hot water geyser

<p>we developed a leak on a Heatech geyser which was about 18months old. I sent photos to Heatech who determined the seal by the heater was leaking, the warranty on that item was onlyone year!!! Plumber replaced seals and leak was still evident, i.e the cylinder itself was leaking. The cylinder has a 5 yr warranty so Heatech should have replaced free of charge, but they now say a pressure control valve should have been fitted, thus the warranty is invalid. However our water comes from a bore hole via a pressure pump which does not exceed 3bar which would negate the reason for another pressure control valve. I have written to Heatech along these lines and am waiting their comments,</p>
