Lesson learned

Worked for Bernadine, the business owner for 6 months. For the last two months, she didn't pay me because her company ran out of funds. After I resigned I found out she told her customers the reason I am no longer working for her is that she fired me as I am ***********. Ruining my status and reputation (face) after I reported her to the CCMA and 2 and a half years later she has still not paid me.
