10 Sept 2026, 13:45Dear Danny G,
We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your experience which may be exacerbated by the fact that you could have the Aqualift. We conduct two visits for all our customers. The first is for the Product Specialist to do an initial bathroom survey, show the customer the most suitable unit and allow them to test it to ensure its safe and fit for purpose. When doing the survey, he relies on what he can see and the information supp**** by the customer regarding any hidden obstacles, such as pipes in the wall. The second visit where the installation takes place is conducted by the installation engineer. He will then conduct a more in depth installation survey which includes looking for pipes and other hidden items that may impact on the installation. It was only at the second visit that it was discovered that pipes where in the wall and that the installation could not be conducted without risking damaging the pipe. An alternative system which did not require installation was offered to you which you declined. As we were not advised of the location of the pipes and had expenses to conduct the second survey, we retained 10% of the deposit, which only partially contributed to our expenses.
We are as disappointed as you are that we were unable to assist you with a bathing solution.
