**** to - misleading information!

<p>On 23 September 2016 I was given an appointment for my daughter to see the opthalmologist. I expressly asked both the receptionist (who referred me to a lady around the corner in an office) if the opthalmologist was contracted to my medical aid, Discovery. I was told yes. If the answer had been no, I would have sought another opthalmologist.</p> <p>Today I received a message from Kalin stating that the full amount was due by me. On enquiry to my medical I am told that Discovery have not paid this claim because the date of service is before the date that your opthalmologist was registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders. I would not have accepted an appointment had that been the case ! Now you expect me to pay for this R908.70 after I was given incorrect information by YOU!</p>
