Worst medical recruitment agency!

I am a medical doctor who made the unfortunate mistake of signing up with Health Staff. Before, signing with the agency, I enquired about their pay rates which they did not want to disclose before signing a contract, thus coercing their clients into signing with them. Even after signing with them they did not want to make their rates known until I worked a shift for them. It turns out their pay rates are much lower than any other locum agencies! I worked one 8 hour day shift at a day hospital for the agency on 29 January at very late notice from the agency and was only paid 5 weeks later on 6 March, which is RIDICULOUS! On my payslip I then noticed they only paid me for 7.75 hours, because I took 20min lunch break to eat and use the toilet once in an 8 hour period! A 20 min lunch break and they penalised me for 25 minutes! Health Staff subtracted money for eating and using the toilet!! This is completely ********* and unconstitutional. Their defence- it's stated in a one liner in the contract. I am disgusted at this company and would like to warn all medical personnel whether you are a doctor, dentist or nurse NOT to ever use this company!
