Worst Medical aid in South Africa

I have been diagnosed with Olecranon Bursitis in my elbow about 2 months back. I went to a GP, which drained my elbow several times, and gave me some anti inflammatory pills for 90 days to drink. She then referred me to a specialist (in hand, elbow, and shoulders) who after doing blood tests etc. told me there is no other alternative but to operate on my elbow.

Health Squared refuses to authorize the operation because they can't see it on the xrays.

The GP, Specialist and Physio wrote motivation letters, informing them that this is impossible to pick up on xrays, and the operation needs to happen, and if it doesn't I could loose full use of my arm.

Our broker told me he would follow up on this issue again, a month ago, but no feedback from the broker or Health Squared.

Worst possible service and medical aid imaginable!

I wouldn't recommend for anyone!
