Worst Medical Aid in history

Worst medical aid EVER! never in my life had such a bad pathetic experience, we have been with Spectramed forever, since health squared took over they are pathetic. firstly, when they changed their name we did not receive any communication from them, they added us onto a plan similar to the one we had at spectramed (LIE). they did not send new brochures nothing. when we took my daughter to ER at a life hospital they told us sorry, your medical aid does not cover life health hospitals anymore only netcare hospitals. they are terribly with communication especially claims & authorisations. you pay an arm & leg monthly for a decent plan but, still end up with thousands of doctor bills they did not pay due to reasons they fail to inform you about. we for a surgery in Nov only to find out at end of December they did not pay the bill without notifying us about the reason and now they say sorry it is what it is. Thank God I cancelled my membership in December. Will never ever go back to them
