Putting my child's life at risk!!!!

After being members on Resolutions primary hospital plan for 8 years I find myself disgusted by the way they treated me in trying to get approval for critical surgery of my 16 year old sons back. Dr Du Plessis gave a motivation explaining the urgency of the procedure as he could have permanent neurological damage and drop foot if he does not get the surgery urgently.It was scheduled for 23 September and after 2 weeks of trying to get answers I was it would not be approved as it is not covered by our plan. I was advised to do a motivation letter together with Dr Du Plessis's letter to upgrade to a higher plan.Needles to say even with all the documents and motivations I was told the upgrade was also declined. I begged and pleaded because of the urgency of the matter but they just wouldn't even consider it!!! He has a grade 2 spondylolisthesis at L5/L1 with his legs going dead regularly! I even tried to speak to the Council for medical schemes who even made me out to be the pathetic one that now wants help that there is a problem. I think they are inhumane and the worst medical aid especially in case of emergency! Don't ever even think of joining, they won't help you in need!!!!
