Not willing to cover hospital fees while in hospital.

I have a hospital plan with Resolution Health (Death). My seven-year-old son went to the Dentist a week ago. And the Dentist said that he would need to go to the Hospital to get his teeth taken out. I paid for the procedure, I was unable to pay for the Hospital fees which amounted to R19000.00. Knowing that I have a Hospital Plan and that my son needs to go to the hospital I thought I would request Authorisation from my Hospital plan. Which was rejected as per the following email:

Subject: FW: ####### pre-authorisation for My son From: DentalHS To: Claude Breinstampf CC: Mimecast Attachment Protection has deemed this file to be safe, but always exercise caution when opening files. ________________________________________ Good day, We acknowledge receipt of your e-mail and wish to advise as follows: Please be advised that the ASPIRE option only has a benefit for the removal on impacted wisdom teeth in hospital. The proposed procedure will thus not be funded. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information. Kind regards Linda Laing Upon trying to get ahold of Linda Lanig I was surprised to hear that she was busy with a call. And I had to speak to the Help Desk assistant.

I would also like to draw peoples attention to the fact that this is the second time that they refused to pay for my claim.

I had my son go to Linksfield Clink for his birth and Resolution Health (Death) refused to pay for the Midwife we hired for the procedure. But according to our scheme, they should have.

Now my son has to go through an immense amount of pain on the dentist chair with a local anesthetic to have these teeth removed. Thank you Resolution Health (Death).

Now I got ahold of Discover and asked them if their hospital plan would cover this procedure, and their exact words were "As soon as a Doctor mentions Hospital it would be covered. Not only the Hospitalization but also procedure." and not only that but my monthly contributions will be way less. It won't take a brain surgent to guess where I am moving over to.
