NO AUTHORISATION FOR MASTECTOMY

My mom's mastectomy and reconstruction surgery had to be cancelled twice already because of incompetency of Resolution Health. As if the diagnoses of breast cancer hasn't been traumatic enough, they continue to be difficult with granting of authorisation for her mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. They are on the best cover (Supreme) and pays R7 000+ per month but still pathology accounts are returned unpaid and no authorisation for surgery. This is unacceptable. On their cover schedule (available on their website) at exclusions they state \3.1 Any breast reduction
