Is Pre authorization required for everything???
On 01 August 2019 I went for blood test that was required by the medical aid. I contacted the medical aid to find out if the pathology account has been sent for payment and I was advised that only part of my account will be paid due to the fact that there needed to be a pre authorization loaded for some of the test that was done.
I am not happy with the result of my query as I was not aware that I needed a pre authorization do be obtained before hand.
