Impossible to obtain information
This isn't really a complaint but more a frustrated request for assistance. I found out yesterday that I need to have my wisdom teeth taken out in theatre because 2 are on a nerve and 1 has grown into my sinus. If it is done in the chair they would more than likely paralyse my face. The Maxillo Facial surgeon I was referred to is not on your network. They told me I need to come in for a consult for R790 in order to obtain a quotation which I then submit to med aid. I have been trying the entire day to get info on which surgeon is on your network so that I can go to them. No one I spoke to has been able to provide me with this info. I don't have time to go and get a quote only to find out you wont authorize it because the Dr. is not on your network and then start the entire process over with a new surgeon. I live in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town, please can someone tell me which Maxillo Facial surgeon I can use.I have been dealing with a very efficient Liana Auret from Agility who is an Executive Personal Assistant. I'm sure it is not even her job but she always answers all my queries. Her service is always excellent. This time I just need info a little quicker hence the above
