Health Squared premium increases
The 2022 premium increase of 14% for the hospital plan is well above inflation and not reasonable. Ten years ago, my wife and i were covered by R1 483 per month; now we are looking at R4 510! At the same time, buried in the contract, are annual increases in the co-payments. Hysterectomy and hysteroscopy for example, have nearly tripled since 2014, most others have doubled. Still value for money?
