Disgusted is all I can say
I hate to name and shame but this is really needed. My sister was admitted to hospital last week Friday with Meningitis. The Neurologist recommended she gets an painblock (which is injected into the neck)to help her cope with the pain. She has been unable to walk very far, eat properly or sleep due to the amount of pain s0he is experiencing. The painblock seemed to be the solution for her (the only solution) as well as for her family (seeing her like that :-(). Yet #ResolutionHealth happily declined the authorisation for this procedure to take place in theatre. Because this can be done in radiology. The doctor could not believe that would even suggest such a thing as this procedure is extremely painful. The doctor then wrote a motivational letter explaining why she needs this painblock. Well once again this request was declined. Well done #ResolutionHealth so \much"for looking after and caring for the best interest of the pasient! #disgusted"""
