STILL WAITING

I was always satisfied with Health Net Patient Transportation. Unfortunately I'm not at all satisfied with the current situation. I drove with them on 17 January 2022 from George to Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town to have an operation on 18 January 2022. I told the dryver that I'm staying for an operation and am not sure until when I will stay. The day after the operation I asked the surgeon when I'll be discharged. On his reply, on Friday, I asked him to arrange with Health Net that I need transport back to George on Friday 21 January 2022. The surgeon confirmed on Thursday 20 February 2022 that my seat is booked for Friday. The surgeon confirmed the booking on Friday morning when he discharged me. Me, my bags, my file, and the medication were all ready at 08:30 on Friday morning 21 January 2022.

Friday come and go but no phone call. I have queried the situation many times to the ward sisters.To my worst frustration I'm wright now, 24 January 2022 17:03, still in Groote Schuur Hospital.

The only reply I got was that my seat is booked every morning and that the driver from Health Net phones every morning and thats it. Nothing further!!!
