BEWARE OF HEALTH AND SAFETY CENTRE ****

My business has been unfortunate to have been targeted by the above company as complete suckers to their ****. Last year I was called on by a Mike Pretorius saying that the above company worked for the Department of Labour and that we needed to buy all the health and safety posters for our business. I purchased the posters from them at a cost of around R3000. Was told that was all I now needed. On the 18th May this year the same person arrived at our offices and said that with COVID-19 things had changed and "sold" me a Tobacco Act poster which I apparently needed to comply, a UIF poster which was supposed to replace the one I got last year and some booklets and charged me a further R3,420 with a discount of 10% if I paid cash or direct EFT. Then a week later they were obviously short of cash and thought they would cheat me out of more money so Mike Pretorius arrived again with a whole a couple of posters and a few very badly copied books and two certificates done by themselves stating they were COVID compliance certificates. I have all this information for the business already. This time the invoice was R6508.00 with a R2000 discount for cash or direct EFT. Now we became suspicious and called one of our contacts for Health & Safety , at which point we were told by Mike Pretorius that if we didn't take his posters etc he would have to report us to the Inspector. As soon as he realized the information we were getting over the phone was a problem for him he picked up his posters and ran away. This morning I get a call from their supposed office asking me why I haven't paid. Take great care if you are ever approached by anyone from this company. The company has a Reg No. *** but is deregistered for non payment of their fees. It is a complete ****!!
