So-called Healing therapy’ a complete ****. Awful. Avoid.
Such a ****. Went to premises. It is a tiny office with a screen separating the massage beds from the ‘reception’. The the******s were waiting in the office passage. They had nowhere to sit. No signage. No windows. There was no basin or running water. A completely makeshift arrangement. I made the appointment through Victor on the phone but he was in fact not at the premises. I was in agony and I wanted to leave but the message lady looked so crestfallen I felt bad. Not a great massage, but … Also there was such a strong smell of citronella (mosquito repellent) it made my eyes water. Very unpleasant. Masseurs told me other people had complained but Victor liked the smell.
I can’t understand how there could be so many glowing reviews. I can only think that friends did it. No-one who has experienced a massage would rate this place as nothing more than a quick money-making scheme. Thanks, shereen mills

Our service offering is and has always been a Medical Massage geared for Stress Relief and release.
What you say about friends doing the reviews is defamatory and should be retracted. Furthermore we have vlogs of different clients worldwide that attest to our great service and effectiveness in Stress Relief and release. We even have had external American companies that have reviewed us independently without our knowledge as of the the best in Sandton, Johannesburg and South Africa 🇿🇦 The reviews also are based on different areas in Johannesburg. Shereen can verify this with Google My business, Health4U and Beauty4U ans Healthspas.
Our Wellness rooms are clean, have air-conditioning and are in a safe and secure environment which has been likened to Bali by clients. We are in an area with boomed gates onsite parking and 24hour security in Rosebank. Make shift you can not find in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg even if you wanted to, so your absolutely wrong on that score. We cater for tired and stressed execs, housewives, students, domestic workers, security gaurds and people from all walks of life hence our very affordable pricing. This goes for everyone who needs Stress Relief and release kindly refer to our company profile.
This malicious review is unfounded and hurtful. We have acquired our reviews over many hours, days , weeks and years of blood sweat and tears and when it comes to quality and service we stand head an shoulders toe to toe with our competitors. What was said about the staff is tantamount to insighting division in our organization and that is absolutely vicious as we always concur with staff re every client and treatments and then ask our clients to review us. If we have to ask people to review us dishonestly we wouldn't still be in business since our inception in the year 2000. Shereen you have not brought any of this to our attention but after 7months you write a scathing review with vulgar language that had to be edited by Hellopeter (Not professional). If you had taken the time to engage us we would have looked into it and qojld have done someting about it as is customary at Healing Body Therapy International. Please be more responsible when posting reviews as this our livelihood and we take it very seriously. That being said i implore anyone to come and see whether what was said about us in this most unkind review is true... Very disappointing

08 Apr 2023, 16:36just to clarify. i have not used foul language anywhere in my review. the words which scanned as sc** is a commonly used one that could easily be replaced with 'rip-off" and the word that scanned as the******s, well you call your business "healing body therapy" so i called your masseurs "the******s" which is just an alternative word for masseurs and in fact implies some level of skill, so perhaps it is a misnomer.
i did the review 7 months later because i decided initially to let it go, but it was such a bad experience that it continued to rankle until finally i decided that it was my duty to do one so that other stressed out people are not misled as i was.
fact: your premises are a small office in an office building with no signage and your masseurs hanging around in the corridor because there is nowhere for them to sit. you have divided this tiny office into two areas - one with two massage beds squashed in - with no window or proper ventilation - and the other for what i assumed is meant as a reception area as it has a couch. you have no basins or running water in this office / "spa" for your masseurs to wash their hands. , although i assume that the building has general toilets on every floor as most office blocks do. how can you possibly call what you offer "therapy" that is meant to calm and destress. it would have been less stressful had i remained in my own office which is at least twice the size of your "spa". the entire arrangement is shoddy and misleading. it certainly does not meet even the minimum requirements for a spa.
it is possible that your massage ladies are good at what they do, but i was so distracted by the shabby confining space and the overpowering smell of citronella that i was focused on just trying to breath that i couldn't enjoy the massage. it really is shameful how easy it is for businesses to mislead and / or cheat customers on the web by offering sub-par services because there is no way of vetting their authenticity. clearly even reviews are not a truthful indication because they can be manufactured. i am not vindictive. just very disappointed and tired of being misled. and i detest dishonesty of any sort. shereen m.
