Extremely Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Cost

My experience with He & She Driving School was disorganized, unprofessional, and ultimately led to my failed license test—despite months of preparation and significant financial investment. From the beginning, communication was unclear and abrasive. I was misinformed about the booking process, misled about instructor availability, and left scrambling for answers the night before my test. Despite requesting a specific instructor and training with him for 10 hours, I was assigned someone else—without warning—mere hours before the test.

On the day of the exam, I was transported in a vehicle I had never driven before, by an instructor who drove recklessly, made inappropriate comments, and showed no regard for my anxiety or preparedness. His sarcasm, dismissiveness, and contradicting advice only added to the chaos. The lack of transparency around instructor codes, vehicle assignments, and payment handling is unacceptable for any legitimate business.

Following the incident, I sent an email to He & She and received a call a day later from CJ, the head of instructors. During the call, he essentially blamed me, accused me of lying, and stated that an internal investigation would be conducted to determine whether I had been unfairly treated. He assured me that if the investigation confirmed any wrongdoing, they would take full responsibility and issue a full refund. He asked for 48 hours to resolve the matter. CJ addressed the issue on 6 May 2025. It’s now 13 days later and I have not heard anything back. This prolonged silence only further confirms that He & She was at fault. Instead of rectifying the situation, they ignored me—likely because they knew they were in the wrong but were too focused on holding onto the money.

While their Google reviews may appear positive, I strongly urge you to check HelloPeter. The reviews there paint a far more accurate picture—one that echoes my experience and, in many cases, details even worse situations. If you want to waste a lot of money, receive constant misinformation, experience absolutely no communication from the service provider you paid for, and fail your license test on your first attempt—then by all means, book with He & She.

The only redeeming part of this experience was my original instructor, Ash, who was professional and effective. Unfortunately, the rest of the service failed me completely.

I cannot recommend He & She Driving School. The experience was not only a waste of time and money, but emotionally distressing and professionally negligent.
