Traumatic experience:Not safe

<p>i just checked out of the lodge after a traumatic weekend at this place .Someone broke in and took all my clothes,shoes,laptop,handbags...everything. I left to go get supper and when i got back everything was gone,i informed the owner who was so rude,who did not even bother to help all he could say is "We are never safe in south africa,you knew what you were getting yourself in".I went to the police station to report at the and they informed me that this place is known for breakins and this year alone there have been countless breakins.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am depressed that i lost items worth r30 000,but this review is to help someone out there to not end up like me.i can not express how unsafe this place is. I wont even comment on how unhygienic the place is,no hot water,pool is green and full of ******* and the windows do not close</p>
