Disgusting Accommodation - refusing to refund

We booked a weekend away for my husbands birthday on [URL Removed] who we use often to book our accommodation. We found Hazyview Country Cottages, looked at the pics and were happy with what we saw. Upon arrival, and after paying for our booking R3300 for 3 nights, we saw how dilapidated and dirty the unit was where we stayed. The roof was falling apart inside, the Bath was dirty, there was Glass missing from the Bathroom window. The check in time is only at 16:00, too late to make an alternative arrangement for accommodation. At 20:00 when I wanted to bath my kids, there was no hot water. The last straw for us was the awful, uncomfortable bed to sleep in. We got no sleep because of the horrible beds. Upon requesting our money back for the 2 nights we were not prepared to stay there, the owner, Tienie, refused to refund us our money. Even though he acknowledged there is a problem. We are taking this further....No Business Skills, no people skills and a daylight ****** this Tienie is. Oh and he keeps his alsation dog with him as a scare tactic. My Kids even cried because they were scared inside this hovel of a unit. Regards Morne & Shannon Alston
