Hazyview cabanas: Absolutely disgusted by service received at elephant "bistro"

As holiday club members we thoroughly enjoy staying at hazyview cabanas. However the service at the so called bistro is just appalling. After a long day driving in the Kruger we headed there this evening for a drink and something to eat. We arrived and were greeted by an almost empty restaurant. You can see in the pic attached there were literally only 2 tables filled. After chatting briefly with the lovely waiter we were told we weren't allowed to eat there. Confused and wanting to hear it from the "owner/manager" I walked over to him. I asked him to just explain to me what the problem seemed to be and he told me that although all the tables were empty with no sign of any reservation that all the tables were booked and he couldn't feed us. I still felt confused as I have yet in my 30 years on earth come across an empty restaurant that I wasn't allowed to eat at? I asked him to just re-explain and was then given an incredibly sarcastic and condescending answer that was basically the same thing.... Although the restaurant was empty he wasn't willing to serve us food. Although this time the extra detail that only 6 of the 15 or so tables are allowed to order food. When my husband and I prompted him for further detail he continued to speak to us like dirt and seemed in no way willing to compromise. It would have been one thing if the restaurant was brimming and we had waited for a table and he had been apologetic and offered us a later slot or something with a slightly more customer-centered feel to it. However all we got was an empty restaurant unwilling to serve me and my family food and an appalling attitude. I will do everything in my power to warn any potential guests of this establishment and advise them to stay away.
