Spares GWM H5... unfathomable
2010 GWM H5 and I must admit I had over 350 000km of good experience with the vehicle. After 350 000 one can expect certain parts will have wear and tear and due for replacement. O2 sensors diagnoses to be the problem. Ordered other parts from Haval Bruma (very happy with branch support and Khalid in spares dept is a star), but for last order placed end March2023 #P132539 I was informed 3 weeks lead time. Started following up and answers are not forthcoming. On week 6 requested to escalate to Haval SA and no longer deal with branch since they are just middleman and telling me what Haval SA says. Following the voice prompts on Haval SA number is a lost case ***) . CustomerCare / Spares goes to voice mailboxes with no feedback (it is like a black hole). Eventually started holding on not following prompts and got to "reception". I think the lady at reception knows me personally already and and I tried to not vent my frustration on her, but she is only one who answers. I hate to do this but name and shame seems to be is my last resort. I have proof and date stamped all messages (Fabian and Yusuf will have info as well), emails and conversations to date always in meetings and nobody returns calls, and even after asking not to leave message for me to call them back and just give me ETA date of spares result in us going in circles. It is 8 weeks now, with no spares to show and to date no confirmation whether spares is actually on route or when it will arrive. Email communication seems impossible , reminder after reminder and frustration mounting daily. New series of vehicles certainly looks impressive with all the bells and whistles. Be careful when the bells don't ring and whistle run out of steam, that is all I can say. Maybe the company policy is that of disposable cars, if Haval wants to bring the message across to me that it is time to trade the H5 in or sell it or dispose of it, be assured it will not be for another GWM/Haval.
