Rusting car and no warranty
To whom it may concern.
I purchased a brand new Haval H2 lux manual 6th of March 2021 at Haval CMH Silver lakes. After signing the OTP and the financing contract from MFC and taken ownership of the vehicle, I was asked to call the F&I Jaco a week later to come sign another contract because the price was wrong. Car suddenly R6000 more.
The very same day n bought the car, hardly 10km away the TPMS completely went offline. Having to drive back to the Haval dealer to rectify. Also was the smash and grab replaced on the passanger side as it was full of bubbles.
2 weeks later I realized the red triangle that was supposed to be in the holder in the car was empty. Drove back again to pickup a triangle.
Stuggled to get my number plates for nearly a month driving up and down for nothing. After I was then promised the plates would be delivered by Leandie to my home. Yes another 3 days of phoning and moaning I got the plates. I had to rivet my own plates because they never had pop rivets
A month later the left back door would not open from the inside. Tried unlocking the child lock with no success. Took the car in again and the door was fixed. The cable unclipped itself. Just to see that the quarter panel was damaged by the dealer. Once again had to drive back to have the panel replaced.
3 months now I see that the car is rusting by the 2 front jack points and brought it to the attention of Gehard.
This week my car has been at Haval Centurion to resolve the rust issue and Im told its not rust. Now the body under has been dented and scratched by incorrect jacking up the car.
Clearly on the pictures attached you can see where the paint stops and where the rust starts. The areas were never coated with paint. If the rust is not fixed under warranty I will go public and make stickers and stick it all over the car warning people not to buy Haval due to the cars rusting after 3 months and Haval not wanting to fix the car under warranty
Secondly I will be handing the case over to the Ombudsman to deal with sittuation further.
Thirdly I will insist on a new car as this car has just had problem after problem at my expense of having to drive up and down to the dealers. Also a car that rusts after 3 months is @$&$ I truely wish I stayed away from the Haval brand.
