Haval Service
Good Afternoon My mother owns a Haval H6, the car is pretty much new, and she's had it for a year or two. She is based in Dundee Kzn, the nearest Haval garage to her in Newcastle. Four months ago, she was trying to the start of the car, and the car would not start, so it was then towed to Newcastle to fix the issue. Haval Newcastle kept the car in their garage for close to 3 months if not more, in the process they failed to give my mother any feedback regarding the car, she had to frequently drive to Newcastle to get updates, and she was told to buy a starter, a battery, and a fuse, she did that, on the day she was fetching the car she noticed that there were wires that were cut and left hanging, those wires were next to the battery and also there were wires connected to the fuse that were connected correctly, she was told the wires that were cut were for the tracker so she left the issue, while driving the car back home she realized that when the changes from one gear to another there is a shacking that happens and not only that on her way home the engine light came to indicate there's something wrong, i then suggested that she brings the car to Johannesburg instead because it seemed Haval Newcastle were failing to fix the car. Two days ago I took the car to Haval Little Falls. I just received an email from them stating that the cutting of wires is not according to the standard and I need to pay 5000 for them to look into the issue of wiring because it is not covered under warranty. I have raised my concern with them that the wires were cut by people at Haval in Newcastle, they then responded that they will not commence with fixing the car until I sort the issue out, I am out of options now because we cannot pay 5000 for a problem caused by another Haval Garage, coupled with that it seems Haval has problems with fault finding in their cars instead they cause more damage.
