DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR HAVAL BRUMA, NISSAN BRUMA, RENAULT BRUMA, CHERY BRUMA, HAVAL EDENVALE

Ok where to begin with Haval. I have had 2 bakkies with GWM. I have dealt with 2 different dealers and both have given me so much uphill its absurd. I have emailed Haval SA and received no responses or any solutions to problems. So lets start at the beginning. Many years ago i attempted to purchase a vehicle from Haval Edenvale. To which they gave me a price which i was happy with they even made me pay a holding fee for the vehicle. When it came down to signing the deal, well all of a sudden the price was significantly higher than we qere promised and the dealer principal essentially stuck his nose up and told us too bad and because we didnt have anything in writing the did not have to honour the deal. First red flag, however we move on assuming its just that dealer and it's principal being arrogant and that it is probably isolatedso we move to different dealer. Haval Bruma. The Bakkie we purchased in 2021 immediately starts guving eletrical issues and we start having to take the bakkie to have these solved, consistently Haval blames everything on any extras that have been added to the car even if they're approved extras from external suppliers they suggested and start talking aboit warranty voiding. This in itself is a massive issue with Haval, as i have had multiple vehicle in the past with the exact same external extras added onto them and none of them have ever threatened warranty voiding, so that is os something to be very concerned about regarding Haval. However back to dealer behaviour. After having take the bakkie to Haval Bruma 7 individual times for the same issue, they just cant seem to fix the problem and offer to upgrade me from the current bakkie to a newer bakkie however it is essentially signing a new deal it is not a replacement under the same terms and time frames but basically a trade in to buy a new vehicle, this may seem silly but the primary drawing point of this deal is that they offer to place all my extras including any extras they dont do in house onto the new vehicle at no extra charge, this sounds wonderful and so we proceed. Once the deal is signed, which took over 2 months due to their accounts department just failing to do basically anything and miscalculating a whole bunch of stuff that would have left me in far worse position, after having confirmed numbers that they had made mistakes on in writing, and then punishing me for their mistakes we eventually arrive at the correcr deal. Now all the promises and numbers have been made in writing - i have learned my lesson from Edenvale - they start backing out on things, stating the things that cant be done in house must be paid by me even though that wasn't the original agreement which i have in writing. Their after sales manager essentially tell me sorry even though you have it in writing we will not help you. That is 3 promises made on mutiple occasions by mutliple people at haval bruma and 3 promises broken. I had to pay for these out of pocket as i was now locked in to a deal. During this process 2 installements on the old vehicle are processed. The first of which was removed the overall total of the new vehicle as it obviously reduces the outstanding settlement. The second of which i am instructed in no uncertain terms that the deal will not be resturctured to decrease the amount as we had already signed and that Haval would refund me that installement of R10 314.46. I think ok great i even take the other out of pocket payments on the chin and proceed. The dealer takes a month to process the refund and when they eventually do do it they only refund me R6700 or so, thus holding back an additional R3600. So i am now out of pocket for over R6000 on a deal that was supposed to actually save me money. To which i am told sorry talk to the bank. I reitetrate that i have proof of all these promises made. So i call the bank, to which the bank vehemently disagrees with the dealer and says that should absolutely 100% refund the full amount and should not have held back any money. They are still refusing to do so. Oh and over and above that i am promised and sign an agreement stating that my new installement will R10 264 but when the amount is taken it comes off at R10 304, so there's another additional sneaky R40 a month for no reason. I write this message to say, buy haval but go to a dealer that youve reviewed and have had friends or family deal with in tough times and that have given good service. Haval bruma, haval edenvale are not good. They are ****s and have a bully mentality as they feel untouchable, FYI the same people that own haval Bruma, own Nissan, renualt and chery Bruma as well sp expect the exact same kind of service for any of those as they will all have the same lying cheating mentality. Please DO NOT USE THESE DEALERS!!
