Disgusted Haval Customer
I bought a brand new Haval H1 on the 4 January 2021 from Malmesbury Haval. I haven't even had my new car for 4 months and both the passenger and drivers side door panels are coming lose, the back seat when put flat wouldn't click back into place, the clips holding the drivers mat in place had competely come off as well as the decorative plate on my gear lever has started to come off. I contacted the dealership via e-mail who at first were so eager to sell my a brand new car and received no respone. I then called the dealership and was told to bring my car in to be evaluated. After evaluating my car they managed to fix the back seat and make a new whole in the drivers side floor to hold the mat in place but because they had to made a new whole for the clip to stay in place the mat now scrunches. I was then told that they would need to contact the technical staff to evaluate the side panels. After 2 weeks of no feedback I called only to be told there is still no feedback and they hope to hear in the next few days. After another week I called again only to be told they still have not received any feedback and don't know if it covered under warranty. I then explained how unhappy I was and that my car was brand new and how is it possible that the side door panels coming lose is not coveres under warranty!!!???? I then said that I would take this further only to be told it would be pointless and that I should contact the Haval SA consumer line to put pressure on them. I then contacted Haval SA and after a week I was told the technical department would need to inspect my car and they would need to confirm when they are in Cape Town again. To say I am disgusted by the level on service is and understatement. I will definitely be taking this matter to the Ombudsman.
