Assistance not being received.
Good day, I'm writing in to ask for assistance in regard to my Haval Jolion which was towed in on Tuesday (02/04/2024) at Haval Edenvale after my car just went dead on me on Good Friday (29/03/2024). When the receptionists were calling in on the 02/04/2024 returning calls that were made on the Saturday 30/03/2024, I told them that my car was towed in the morning, and I thought that they were calling to ask that I come collect the car. The lady that I was talking to transferred me to the Service manager to get an update. He told me that they have not been able to look at the car, but he knows that the clutch was a problem, and they would need to strip the car which will take some time. I then asked if I could be assisted with a courtesy car in the meantime as I need to take my son to school and back and he said sorry they can't help me as the cars are not available. Today (03/04/2024) I have been given an update saying that the starter needs to be replaced. The only problem is that there is currently no stock throughout the whole of SA, the clutch will also need to be replaced. I asked the lady what I need to do with my son as he missed the first day of school. She said she will call me back and it's already 5:30pm with no follow up call from her. Please can somebody tell me what I need to do as my son can't be missing school for a long period of time. The fact that I'm not also being assisted with a courtesy car is really frustrating. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of as I am a lady and if I were a man then this would not be happening. Do I need to use UBERS and send the bills to Haval to reimburse me? Is it not possible to call other Haval garages to assist with the courtesy car? I really loved the car, the brand and honestly was speaking highly of Haval Edenvale. After this I changed my mind and would not mind going elsewhere once this is resolved as this is the second incident where I'm made to feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
Kind Regards, Gugu ***
