Poor service
My husband was at the service centre 23 July regarding the oil level on my vehicle, and I am extremely disappointed with the explanation that was provided to him. During all these years, I have never once had to question a dealership about insufficient oil after a service after the dipstick was only reflecting that the oil was halve after the service. I was therefore very concerned to hear that Gerhard's explanation to my husband was that the vehicle “uses excess oil” and that he should simply monitor the oil level. I find this explanation unacceptable. If a vehicle is consuming an excessive amount of oil, that is a mechanical concern that needs to be properly investigated and addressed. It should not simply be presented to the customer as something they must accept and monitor, particularly immediately following a service. I have also obtained second opinions, and I have been advised that the oil levels shown in the photographs are not where they should be but that the oil colour is good. I am extremely disappointed that this situation has arisen after the very first service since I purchased the vehicle from you. More importantly, the manner in which this matter has been handled has seriously damaged the trust I had in your dealership. This email was send to the principal James, the service manager Gerhard as well as the sales person Clinton on 26 August. No one of them answered me or phoned me to date. Be very careful of the dealership, you are sold a vehicle by Clinton, no after sales service at all! As soon as the deal is done, you do not matter anymore. Gerhard treats clients like they are not important at all. James not sure where he fits in, maybe like the rest of his team, non-existant service.
