My business bought a HAVAL H6 premium Demo car from GWM in Boksburg in October 2025.The price was fully paid including R7700 before tax for Admin Service which included registering the car. I dealt with mr Brent Coetzee. I explained to him that the business has two premises one in Western Cape and one in Gauteng and that the HAVAL must be registered to the business in Gauteng. We supp**** the documents Mr Coetzee requested. He duly delivered the HAVAL to us without an Owners manual and registration documents. He said he forgot the documents in his office and that he would Courier them to us. This was the first lie he told of many to follow. The documents were not courierd and after a week or two we contacted him his explanation also a lie that the Courier brought the documents back and it is on his desk .I asked him to keep the documents as I would pick them up from his office the following day,When I arrived at his office he was supposedly on leave and there were no documents left for me. His next excuse was that the registration documents and owners manual went missing and he is trying to trace them. This went on for a couple of weeks and Mr Coetzee ignored our phone calls and did not return calls. Then came the next surprise Mr Coetzee informed us that the car was mistakenly registered in Western Cape so he was lying to us the whole time the Haval he delivered still had Gauteng number plates and a Gauteng license disk. He also told us that he is not responsible for registrations as this is done by a guy named Adrian.Maritz.I got Adrians number and spoke to him directly ,He was very surprised and was not aware of the problem. After a number of calls and discussions Adrian sent the registration documents to us in February but still no owners manual..However in the transferring of the registration of the HAVAL to Gauteng they managed to cancel my business address in Western Cape which meant that the delivery vehicle used in western Cape could not be licensed when the license expired .Mr Maritz said he will have the matter rectified. Its now April and the position is still the same and Adrian does not want to answer our calls any longer. In February the lady driving the HAVAL found when she tried to start the HAVAL that there was no power even the lights on the dashboard did not show. Mr Coetzee told us to contact the nearest HAVAL dealer which turned out to be Sasolburg. They promptly attended to the matter and took the car to their workshop. They informed us that the Battery had no power and that this was the second battery installed in the HAVAL in the last six months they could find no other problem .The car was returned to us the problem happened twice more and we eventually left the car with SASOL Haval ,on close examination they found that there were two tracking devices installed in the HAVAl and these devices were draining all the battery power. We were not aware of the installed tracking devices. They removed the devices and returned the car to us. We have not had a similar problem since. Touch wood. During this time we had zero assistance from Mr Brent Coetzee or HAVAL in Boksburg even though they were the cause of the problem and the dealer principle I dont think mr Coetzee was ever trained in client or after sales service . In closing I want to thank Rietjie of HAVAL in Sasolburg she went out of her way to assist in getting the car back on the road and Haval Boksburg can learn a lot from her regarding service to a client It is a pity that bad service from a dealership can damage the reputation of an otherwise nice car.
