The crumpets con

My wife is a regular at Hava Java Stoneridge. She meets with friends from the area as she used to live there. On Friday, she went to meet with a good friend who is a pensioner. As they caught up ,they ordered breakfast and crumpets. When the crumpets arrived ,they were stale,hard and would have been risky to eat.

My wife offered to buy something else for her friend, who refused and quietly had her tea. I suspect that the crumpets were all she could afford and she refuses to let my wife pay for anything. My wife raised her concerns with the guy who was supposedly the manager. He was rude and dismissive and quite derogatory to my wife's friend.

Hava Java may be a brand,but it is the regulars that keeps them in business.

I suspect they are recycling unsold food or are just to busy to keep up

As simple matter of replacing stale crumpets with fresh has left a sour taste

We and all our friends will be avoiding that establishment in future I would suggest you are more discerning as a consumer before you choose to go there
