unhappy customer

I took my car as it had problems with funny noise and took it Hatfield VW(Pretoria). So I was advised that it is the gearbox and it would cost me around R16000, So I told the consultant that I have a warranty. The consultant called me and advised me that warranty only authorised for R4000.00 and I called the warranty and I was advised that the amount authorised was R10110. Then I advised the consultant at VW. The following he called me to advise that the car is ready and I should pay R1395.50. I enquired why am I paying such amount only and requested that he send me the quotation send to the warranty, the consultant then send me a quotation of R11506 and I then contacted the warranty only to find out that the quotation that was for R10344. When I asked the consultant why are the quotations different, I was not given a clear answer only to be told that I have to pay for something that should be covered by the warranty.
