Terrible after Sales Experience
I purchased a Polo Vivo Sedan from Hatfield VW in January 2017. I was promised that they were going to do the car registration and that they will provide me with the license plate in due time. The temporary car plate expired, the boot was not working and I called the sales person (Nyiko Kubayi) numerous times and only after I sent them an email complaining about this poor service did the sales consultant decide to take me seriously and tried to make arrangements for me to have their technician have a look at the boot and then he delivered the car licence plate.
When the car was due for a service, my husband took it to a VW for me and he experienced issues because the dealership said the licence plate is linked to someone else. I failed to understand this and thought the dealership made a mistake. I then went to a Post Office on the 05th of February 2018 to renew the licence disc, only to be told that the car licence plate number shows that the car/licence number belongs to someone else with initials K.C and that I can’t renew the licence Disc.
I called the sales person Nyiko Kubayi, who promised to return my call after i explained my reason for calling. Indeed he called me back and enquired again what the issue is, I explained and he promised to call me back. Today the 06th, when I tried to call him back to hear what the verdict is, his phone goes to voicemail.
I have had endless terrible after sales experience, I always need to exhaust all avenues before I can get decent assistant, for issues that I shouldn't be encountering if Hatfield VW Rivonia would hire competent and honest people. I regret buying a second hand vehicle from this dealer, they clearly are ************* and are not worth the hassle and stress. I will get ticket fines for not renewing my licence disc though I am not at fault! For context, I have attached my emails for the previous issues I raised with the dealership. My husband had to get involved to try and get Nyiko to take my frustrations seriously.
